Upside Africa started out in 2013 as a networking platform for African women in Spain. The organization was founded by Jane Oma, an Executive and Leadership coach who’s support for startups and entrepreneurs cuts across Africa. Jane is a recognized, enthusiastic instructional/executive coach and ESL professional with years’ experience addressing client’s needs and a commitment to helping clients and students achieve their desired goal in their professional development or learning process. Other members of the Upside Africa team include Brenda Apio Oca (South Africa), Hope Lorin Dlamini Ondeko (South Africa), and Fatmata Chef Binta (Ghana).

Upside Africa is an international organization that seeks to inspire and encourage entrepreneurship and professionalism in Africa. We achieve this by Organizing conferences, workshops, seminars and coaching sessions to help position African everywhere to maximize their highest potentials. To become contributing member of their resident countries and to be able to effectively influence their own communities.

“Africa is on the rise, and so are African women” Letty Chiwara, Chief of Africa Section, UN Women.

At Upside Africa we seek to inspire the African Woman in Spain, South Africa, the United States, the World over. In so doing we push them to greater heights, encourage those who are already on their way and provide support and recognition for those who are already there!

We support the woman, the entrepreneur of African Descent, wherever you may be across the continent and outside.
